Westfall’s Counter-Swirl Static Mixer delivers complete mixing
within three pipe diameters (CoV 0.025 and K-Value of 1.26). This speed and effectiveness means it uses less additive, reducing cost of operation. The mixer also reduces space requirements. The Westfall 6000 Mixer was developed using Computational Fluid Dynamics analysis.

The Counter-Swirl Static Mixer features three slightly curved fins welded to a pipe interior. The two lateral fins are inserted one-half pipe diameter upstream of the injection port. The center fin is welded downstream of the injection port. The placement of the fins prevents clogging. Incoming fluids or gases enter the counter-rotating zone of turbulence as the additive is introduced. This results in complete mixing within three pipe diameters.

All Westfall’s mixers are manufactured in-house and subjected to rigorous quality control and inspection prior to shipping.
