• Westfall Static Mixers: Highly efficient with Low Headloss

Model 4000 Open Channel Static Mixer

Ideal for When There is a Bulkhead in the Channel

Westfall’s Open Channel Static Mixer 4000 offers a simple, affordable alternative to motorized mixers. It can be installed in tanks up to 20’ wide and 20’ deep, or in open water flows like irrigation and wastewater ditches. Attach it where there is a wall or bulkhead, or it can be configured to place in the center of an installation.

It uses the same advanced vane technology as Westfall’s other Low Headloss mixers, making it highly efficient at mixing in chemicals for potable water, with minuscule headloss.

In applications where reducing headloss is of primary importance, inlet cones and/or outlet diffuser cones can be used to further reduce headloss. Either or both can dramatically reduce headloss with minimal sacrifice to mixing efficiency.
