Multiple Mixers/Single Injection Quills

Westfall Model 2800 Wafer Style Static Mixers made from PVC with single injection quills are now installed in a Texas water treatment facility.

We recently shipped eight 6″ mixers to a new water treatment plant being built in Texas. These were Model 2800 Wafer Style Static Mixers fabricated from PVC and fitted with a single quill each. Four are placed in lines where the injected substance is chlorine and four are placed in pipes where they will inject LAS (Liquid Ammonia Sulfate) to purify and disinfect drinking water.

This particular plant was designed with separate lines for chlorine and LAS injection, so they can monitor and balance the chemicals. However, if the customer wanted to inject both chemicals simultaneously, we could provide mixers with multiple quills. It’s a matter of design choice and we can accommodate either setup.
