Revolutionary Design Mixes in 3 Diameters

The Counter-Swirl Static Mixer features three curved fins welded to a pipe interior. The two lateral fins are inserted one to three inches upstream of the center fin. U.S. Patent 11,097,232
Economical Footprint
Many of our customers have limited space available, which makes the Model 6000 Counter-Swirl Static Mixer a good option — it only requires 3 pipe diameters downstream to deliver complete mixing. (CoV 0.025 and K-Value of 1.26) This saves customers on the cost of additive and also reduces space requirements.
Only Requires 1 Injection Port
This mixer only needs one injection port per chemical instead of two, though it can accommodate multiples in a series or row.
CFD Analysis Proves Performance
When you’re installing a big mixer in a big, expensive pipeline, you want to know it’ll work. That is why Westfall uses extensive CFD analysis, both in-house and with trusted outside consultants like Alden Laboratories to gather data and prove that our mixers, flow conditioners and other products live up to expectations.

The Westfall 6000 Mixer aggressively slices and dices the flow to thoroughly mix the fluids within three diameters. Incoming fluids or gases enter the counter rotating zone of turbulence as the additive is introduced. This results in complete mixing within three pipe diameters.
Popular with Diverse Customers Worldwide
- We shipped two 30″ and two 36″ Model 6000 Mixers made from carbon steel with NSF approved coating.
- A paper mill in the UK uses the Model 6000 for adding pigment to paper pulp without clogging.
NSF-61 Approved
The Model 6000 Static Mixer can be built from a variety of acceptable materials, including carbon steel (less expensive than stainless steel) coated with 3M Skotchkote 134 fusion bonded epoxy. Every part of the mixer that will contact water is coated so it is NSF-61 approved for drinking water applications.
