Any Material Indicated: Weird Materials Don’t Scare Us

Unique, Extra-Strength Alloy

One customer who orders many mixers from us requested a mixer made of a unique metal alloy, which was necessary because of the extremely caustic additives they had in their pipeline.

Not every supplier offers this material, partly because it’s quite expensive and its uses are very specialized. We did our research and were able to source this material from a specialty metals firm.

Some companies refuse to work with this particular alloy, as it is tough to machine and weld. However, it was no problem for our highly skilled in-house welder.

We fabricated the mixer and delivered it on time to a happy customer.

Local, Nationwide, International

Westfall uses many suppliers in our local New England region. It’s great to be able to stop by the shop to check on a component.

We’re fortunate to have companies offering new, innovative technology right on our street in Bristol, Rhode Island. However, we also use suppliers across the USA and sometimes internationally, whatever best meets our customers’ needs.

Material Options

Westfall mixers and flow conditioners are available in any engineering materials to meet industry needs. Options are not limited to the materials below. Just ask if you don’t see what you need.

Various base materials can be provided with coatings such as fusion bonded epoxies to seal them from caustic chemicals or meet NSF requirements.

Gaskets and flanges can be made of compatible materials when needed to reduce costs or increase durability.
